BME's Coronavirus Leadership Team is responsible for decision-making and communicating about the continuity of BME's mission. The team is in daily communication with each other and with UVA Engineering, UVA Health and UVA ITS.

Beginning March 19, and continuing through the end of the semester, all UVA courses and exams will be delivered virtually. Here is who is leading this effort in our department:

Shannon Barker is the liasion to UVA Engineering regarding communications about alternative course delivery.  Brian Helmke is providing best practices and consultation for effectively delivering content virtually.  Henry Pritchard is providing guidance and support for teaching continuity and being a remote student.
