Research
The Aerospace Research Laboratory (ARL) was established at the University of Virginia in 1986 to conduct basic and applied research in advanced aerospace technologies. Research interests have expanded to include high-speed mixing and combustion, low speed combustion, optical techniques, microgravity research, biological system research, and computational modeling.
