First years, did you know chemical engineers are consistently among the most employable — and some of the highest paid — of the engineering disciplines?
ChemEs also continue to be involved in many of the most important science and technology breakthroughs that benefit society, from vaccinating the world against COVID-19 to fighting vehicle pollution or tissue engineering to help people with debilitating injury or disease. At UVA, we’re also a tight-knit bunch who support each other and love to have fun.
Join us for Chemical Engineering Major Night to learn more about our department and what you can do with a degree in chemical engineering. We’re planning an introduction plus overview of the department’s COVID-19 efforts with faculty, and breakouts with students and alumni from companies such as Merck, Eli Lily, ExxonMobil and Patagonia.
We look forward to helping you decide if chemical engineering is the right major for you! The Zoom meeting link, ID and passcode to join the virtual session will be forthcoming from the UVA Engineering Office of Undergraduate Programs. If you have questions or do not receive the Zoom meeting information, please contact Professor Geoffrey Geise, ChE undergraduate program coordinator, at email@example.com.
We hope to see you soon!
