The Center for Civic Innovation in partnership with UVA Engineering’s Link Lab, the School of Data Science, and the School of Architecture are hosting four Civic Innovation Meetups during the Spring Semester to promote dialog and conversation within our local community on the use of technology and data for civic innovation.

Each meetup will include three talks, one each from the City of Charlottesville, Albemarle County, and University of Virginia, on a different theme identified by the city and county as key priorities for civic innovation. January’s topic will be the environment, February’s infrastructure, March’s transportation, and April’s engagement. A reception will directly follow for more discussion and dialog.

The first meetup will be on January 30, 2020 4-5PM with a reception following. Other events will be held on the last Thursday of the month at the same time and place.  For more information, please email Jon Goodall (goodall@virginia.edu).
