The University of Virginia Engineering Research Symposium (UVERS) is the Graduate Engineering Student Council's flagship event and is hosted on grounds every spring semester. UVERS consists of networking and other professional development opportunities as well as poster and podium presentations of ongoing graduate student research in UVA Engineering. Three students from each department of UVA Engineering will be selected to present their research in either a poster or podium presentation format to be judged by professionals with finalists receiving cash prizes. In addition to engineering students, an interdisciplinary category is also available for students not enrolled in UVA Engineering but who conduct research with a faculty member associated with the school.
If you would like to attend as a guest or volunteer your time as a judge, RSVP at the provided link. We hope you will join us for the 16th Annual UVERS on April 7, 2020, in the Link Lab of Olsson Hall.
If you are a graduate student and would like to apply to present your research, an abstract submission form is available via email announcement.
Questions can be directed to Gail Hayes at GMM8U@VIRGINIA.EDU.
