Your ticket to a productive summer


Join us for the Write On! event series as a transition into summer. Find tools and make a plan for your summer writing goals and learn strategies for getting feedback, self-editing and making the most of paragraphs. We will usually have snacks at events (goldfish, cookies, etc.) Find community with other engineering graduate students looking to optimize their summer work. Write on Summer series ticket- a table where each row is one of the events followed by a blank square (for a stamp)Bring your WriteOn! ticket (available at the GWL, each WriteOn! event, & the registrar) to each event and sign in to collect stamps. Collect all the stamps for a prize.

    Planning to get some work done this summer? Join us for tips on planning your summer writing, presentations and posters. This hands on workshop includes goal setting, analogue and digital tracking, accountability, motivators, ways to break down large projects into scheduled manageable goals, keeping track of all those papers you should be writing, and more.     Feedback on your work is a critical part of academia, engineering and science. Join us as we go over types, sources, and stages of feedback and some practical ways to make it work for you. This work shop focus most on feedback for writing, presentations and posters but principals can be applied to other areas as well. Register online
