  • AFCS

    Alpha Flow Characterization System

    A Network Monitoring System that collects NetFlow records from routers deployed in a network and reconstructs data transfer flows. The AFCS software characterizes flows by their size, rate and duration and provides a GUI for visualizing flows。

  • FMTP

    File Multicast Transfer Protocol

    The File Multicast Transport Protocol (FMTP) is a reliable multicast transport protocol  designed to support the distribution of le-streams to multiple receivers over rate-guaranteed  multipoint virtual networks. FMTP requires the lower layers to support packet multicasting (though this multicast service could be unreliable), and to support a reliable unicast service.

  • rHNTES

    real-time Hybrid Network Traffic Engineering System

    Identifies alpha flows in the network that is responsible for causing background traffic loss and switch buffer overflow. The software is deployed with a switch or a router, which detects these alpha flows in real time and redirects them on a separate traffic engineered path.

  • LDM Support

    The Unidata Local Data Manager (LDM) system includes network client and server programs designed for event-driven data distribution, and is the fundamental component comprising the Unidata Internet Data Distribution (IDD) system.
