The Human-AI Technology Lab is based in the Department of Engineering Systems and Environment at the University of Virginia. Our group is a diverse mixture of graduate students, undergraduate students, post-docs, and visiting scholars.
Group MembersMission
The Human-AI Technology Lab seeks to develop intelligent adaptive systems and computational models of human behavior from diverse data streams to understand health and wellbeing of individuals and communities.
By harnessing the capabilities and data of everyday mobile technology, HAI aims to intelligently explore the patterns and behavior inherent to unique individuals. From this knowledge, we can make predictions about potential health outcomes and suggest individualized improvements to promote a healthier, happier community.
HAI additionally uses mobile technology to create intelligent applications for social good. We want to optimize opportunities for positive interactions between community members.
