Pathways is a new program that offers engineering students in every department a study abroad program that works with their curriculum! Make sure to confirm that the classes will be available when you go abroad since course offerings will vary from year to year.

Pathway 1: UVA Exchange: National University of Singapore

When: Spring Semester 2nd Year

Transferable Courses:
CHE 2216: Modeling and Simulation in Chemical Engineering
CHE 2202: Thermodynamics
APMA 3110: Probability and Statistics
Physics II and STS Equivalents Available
**Note: Organic Chemistry II not offered - suggested to take over summer. All classes offered in English.

Pathway 2: IES Abroad: Queen Mary, University of London

When: Fall Semester 3rd Year

Transferable Courses:
CHE 3321: Transport Processes I
CHE 3316: Chemical Thermodynamics and Unit Operations
CHEM 3610: Physical Chemistry
STS Equivalent: Architecture in London
**Note: Organic Chemistry Lab not offered - suggested to take second year fall or summer before third year.

When: Spring Semester 3rd Year
