  • Chengshuai Shi

    Chengshuai Shi


    Chengshuai Shi is currently a 2-nd year Ph.D. student in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Virginia. He received his B.E. degree in Electrical Engineering in 2019 from the School of the Gifted Young, University of Science and Technology of China (USTC). His current research focuses on multi-armed bandits and federated learning.

  • Yujia Mu

    Yujia Mu


    Yujia Mu received her B.E. degree from the Department of Electronic Engineering, Tsinghua University, Beijing, China, in 2017. She obtained her M.E. degree in 2019 from the Computer Engineering Department, University of Virginia (UVA). She started pursuing her Ph.D. degree at UVA in June 2019. Her research interests include machine learning and network security.

  • Xizixiang Wei

    Xizixiang Wei


    Xizixiang Wei is currently a 1-st year Ph.D. student in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Virginia. He received his B.S. and M.S. degrees in Engineering in 2017 and 2020 from Tongji University and Fudan University, respectively. His research interests are mainly in the area of federated learning and signal processing.

    Li Fan


    Li Fan is currently a 1-st year Ph.D. student in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Virginia. He received his B.E. degree in Electrical Information Engineering in 2020 from the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC). His current research focuses on multi-armed bandits.

  • Kun Yang

    Kun Yang


    Kun Yang received his B.E. degree from the Department of Electronics Engineering, Tsinghua University, Beijing in 2017. He then joined Texas A&M University and received his M.S. degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering in 2019. Kun started as a Ph.D. candidate from August 2020 under the advice of Dr. Cong Shen. His current research interests go towards Federated Learning and Reinforcement Learning for wireless network optimization.
