Watch ECEDHA-NI Webinar on Rethinking Electronics Fundamentals, presented by UVA ECE Professor Harry Powell
A team of ECE professors at UVA redesigned and rearranged the first three electrical engineering courses with the goal of helping students understand that what they learn in circuits, electronics, and signals and systems are really all part of a single problem in real-world engineering. The college of engineering partnered with National Instruments to implement a solution that fit this new interconnected structure by giving students a hands-on experimental experience throughout every step.
Watch this webinar sponsored by the ECE Department Head Association and National Instruments to understand the goals of curriculum redesign, how these goals were achieved, and the results after four years of implementing this new curriculum. The webinar is presented by Prof. Harry Powell, one of the key contributors behind this important curriculum overhaul. The UVA ECE approach is attracting attention from around the country and the world!
