Congratulations to Kevin Janes and Jason Papin, both professors in the department of biomedical engineering at the University of Virginia, who were named to the reconfigured Editorial Board of the journal Cell Systems. Just a handful of universities have multiple members on the 69-person board, including Harvard, MIT, Princeton, Stanford, UCSF and UVA.

Kevin Janes is a professor in the Department of Biomedical Engineering. He designs and uses new experimental and computational approaches for analyzing cell signaling and transcriptional networks in cancer and infectious disease.
Jason Papin, Professor of Biomedical Engineering, develops computational models of cellular networks and performing high-throughput experiments to characterize biological systems relevant to human disease, with a focus on infectious disease, toxicology, and cancer.
