MOB Lab and Rail collaborated to put on a session, “Civil Engineering Playground The World's Built Environment”, for the ExxonMobil Bernard Harris Science Summer Camp sponsored by the Center for Diversity in Engineering at UVA. The sessions were quite a success and showcased a number of topics in the field of Civil Engineering including concrete testing, shape memory alloys, steel testing, digital image correlation, non-contact measurement techniques, bridge visit and vibrations. The two group did a great job in collaborating and working with these future engineers and scientists. We are looking forward to another year of this activity.
