About
Seongkook Heo is an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at the University of Virginia (UVA), where he directs the Ultimate Interface Lab. His research in Human‑Computer Interaction bridges the physical and virtual worlds through novel sensing, feedback, and interaction techniques. His work appears in premier HCI venues (CHI, UIST, CSCW) and has earned Best Paper or Honorable Mention awards at CHI, MobileHCI, VRST, and ISS, along with a Meta Research Award. He received his Ph.D. from KAIST and was a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Toronto before joining UVA.
