The Fall 2021 course withdrawal deadline is October 19, 2021
After the drop deadline (October 14) you can request to withdraw from a course in SIS. To get started, go to the drop tab in your SIS Student Center. Use the DROP transaction for the desired class. When you get the message about withdrawing, click on the "Request Class Withdrawal" link and follow the directions. If withdrawing from a course will put you below 12 credits for the term, you must appeal to Dean Guilford prior to the deadline (October 19). Support from your academic advisor should be included with your appeal.
If the course withdrawal is approved, a grade of ‘W' will be posted on your transcript, but will not be included in your GPA calculation. Please feel free to reach out to the Office of Undergraduate Programs for support.
