BME Weekly Seminars: Fridays at 2:00 pm

UVA BME is hiring multiple tenure-track and tenured faculty at all ranks and in any BME research area

The Department of Biomedical Engineering is inviting applicants for multiple tenure-track or tenured faculty appointments at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor. Candidates will join our exciting environment, build and sustain impactful research programs in any area of Biomedical Engineering, engage in teaching and mentoring of graduate and undergraduate students, and perform service to the community, institution, and BME profession. Candidates should be committed to engaging in collaborative teaching and research and helping all of society through biomedical research and technology innovations. The BME Department is part of the UVA Medical Center and is physically connected to the UVA Hospital. This proximity provides a unique and authentic training experience for biomedical engineering students, who have daily interactions with patients, doctors, and other care providers as they develop and deploy their skills to solve problems in healthcare and medicine in the No. 1 hospital in Virginia and one of the top-40 ranked hospitals nationally.
