About

I grew up in Mooresville, North Carolina, later attending NC State University and commissioning into the U.S. Air Force as an Operations Officer in 2021. I have been stationed in San Antonio, Texas, and Charlottesville, Virginia. I have also deployed to Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar, and Osan Air Base, South Korea.

I am conducting research with Professor Daniel Otero-Leon, focusing on discrete-event simulation and optimization of multidisciplinary clinical operations. Working with neurologist Camilo Fadul, I am developing a decision-support simulation of the neuro-oncology clinic at UVA Health.

I am grateful that my career led me to Systems Engineering, as I enjoy applying systems thinking and structured problem-solving to complex real-world challenges that affect national defense and human health alike.

Outside of work and school, I enjoy playing golf, motorsports, skiing, and traveling to visit friends living around the world.
