Hossack Lab is a group of researchers who study ultrasound and ultrasound contrast agents to advance innovative applications in disease diagnosis, treatment, and monitoring. Ultrasound is unique in that it provides for both imaging and therapy, and it is possible to use real-time imaging to guide therapy as it happens. Our group's research focus areas include Ultrasound Molecular Imaging, Microfluidic Production of Microbubbles, Photoacoustic Imaging, and Ultrasound Artifact Reduction.
Alumni from Hossack lab have gone on to postdoctoral positions in leading ultrasound research labs, to founding and leading startup companies, and to positions in the big three medical imaging companies (GE, Philips and Siemens).
