UVA Hydroinformatics Research Group
About Us
The Hydroinformatics Research Group at the University of Virginia is a team of undergraduate, graduate, and postdoctoral researchers exploring new ways to bring advancements in computing and data science to society's most challenging water resources management problems. The interdisciplinary field of hydroinformatics uses a combination of water resources engineering, hydrology, computer science, and data science to address modern day problems and challenges of water resources management.

We are members of the interdisciplinary Link Lab at UVA, which unites faculty and students who share an interest in cyber-physical systems.
In addition to the publications, general research interests, and example projects on this site, we also maintain a Github organization where much of the the code resulting from our research is released free and open source.
