Lu Feng is an Associate Professor of Computer Science at the University of Virginia and a member of the Link Lab. Her research focuses on runtime safety and trust for embodied AI systems—intelligent systems that perceive, decide, and act in the physical and human world. She develops architectural and algorithmic foundations to ensure safety, adaptation, and effective human–AI collaboration in domains such as autonomous driving, robotics, healthcare, and smart infrastructure.
