Trigon Engineering Society
Trigon Engineering Society
Trigon is a social-service, co-ed society founded at the University of Virginia in 1924. We are an inclusive brotherhood of engineering students from all backgrounds. We take great pride in our well-rounded members, who actively participate in many organizations within the Engineering School as well as throughout the University.
Throughout the year, we host numerous social events such as Lawn gatherings, tailgates, and retreats. Beyond our dedication to fun, we embrace a deep responsibility to our community. Past service efforts have included organizing blood drives, assisting with Engineering School events, and volunteering with local organizations such as the Virginia Discovery Museum, Hogs & Kisses, and Camp Holiday Trails. In recognition of our contributions over the years, UVA has endowed Trigon with a Lawn Room (17 West), where a brother lives each year.
The most important aspect of Trigon is our spirit of brotherhood. Trigon serves as a support network and a family away from home. It is this spirit that keeps brothers involved long after graduation, fostering lifelong connections and friendships.
