After watching UVA athletes crush it at the Summer Olympics, UVA Chemical Engineering graduate students welcomed our talented new cohort of Ph.D. and M.E. students to the department by hosting the 2024 Chemical Engineering Olympics. After an intense afternoon of Mario Kart, javelin throw (with pool noodles), corn hole, tug of war, a water balloon toss, and more, 3 students and one staff member emerged victorious and took home the gold (-colored plastic).
