Michael Burns

Michael earned a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering at the University if Virginia in May of 2022. With a lifelong interest in the human body and desire to solve problems, engineering related to the human body became a natural fit. Seeking an understanding of injury and the development of successful mitigation measures led him to pursue a PhD in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at the University of Virginia’s Center for Applied Biomechanics.
