Minor in Civil Engineering

The Civil Engineering Minor consists of five CE courses, with a maximum of two at the 2000 level. This minor allows you to tailor your coursework to align with your interests and career goals, whether in structural engineering, transportation engineering, environmental engineering, water resources engineering, sustainability, and construction engineering and management.

To help guide your course selection, we have prepared a document outlining suggested course sets based on different focus areas. While these tracks serve as helpful examples, they are not required, and you are free to mix and match courses, provided you meet the necessary prerequisites.

Since civil engineering integrates mathematics, computing, physics, and chemistry, some tracks may require additional coursework for non-engineering students. The document highlights these requirements to help you plan accordingly.
