This opportunity has been made possible by the generosity of Clark Construction Group and The Whiting-Turner Contracting Company. We encourage our second and third-year civil, systems, and environmental engineering majors to consider applying.

The William L. Talbert Scholarship
The Clark Construction Group has continued its generous support to the School of Engineering and Applied Science with The William L. Talbert Scholarship.
Purpose:
To encourage Civil Engineering majors in the University of Virginia School of Engineering and Applied Science (SEAS) to pursue the SEAS Engineering Business Minor.
To make students aware of the professional opportunities in construction management with companies like Clark Construction Group.
To increase the opportunities for recruiting UVA Engineering students and graduates for internships and careers at Clark Construction Group.
Award:
Two scholarships will be awarded. Each recipient will receive $5,000 for tuition and fees for an academic year. In addition, the recipient will receive priority consideration for a Clark Construction Group Internship.
Submit a short video (5 minutes max) answering the following questions: How do you plan to integrate engineering and business into your career? Why are you interested in a career in construction?

The Whiting-Turner Scholarship
Established by the Whiting-Turner Contracting Company, this scholarship was established to support students in the Department of Engineering Systems and Environment and help make students aware of construction engineering and management opportunities.
