Henning S. Mortveit
Associate ProfessorHenning Mortveit is an associate professor in the Biocomplexity Institute Initiative. He received his doctorate in mathematics from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology in 2000. Before joining ESE he held positions at the Los Alamos National Laboratory and at Virginia Tech.

John P. Mugler
Director of Medical Imaging Research Professor of Radiology and Medical Imaging Professor of Biomedical EngineeringDr. Mugler's main research focuses on the development and optimization of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) techniques, and draws on a variety of physics and engineering principles with a strong emphasis on theoretical modeling and simulation, and on practical implementation and evaluation.
