Cole Blackman, an undergraduate researcher in HPLP, has been accepted to present their work "Developing Open Hardware to Accelerate Convolutional Neural Network Calculations for Image Recognition" at the 14th annual Gulf Coast Undergraduate Research Symposium on Oct. 8.
GCURS provides current undergraduates the opportunity to present their original research discoveries to scholars from around the world. Open to current undergraduate students from around the world, accepted students are invited to give a 10-12 minute talk on their research. and receive coaching and encouragement from faculty mentors.
