STRUCT-AR

Have you ever wanted to see how a beam or bridge you encounter in everyday life reacts when load is applied?

What if you could see these in your space at all angles, without having to specify material types, meshing or boundary conditions?

STRUCT-AR

What is STRUCT-AR

STRUCT-AR is an augmented reality application that allows uses to interact with structural systems on their mobile devices and tables. The application is currently under development for deployment on the App Store (iOs) and Google Play Store. STRUCT-AR utilizes finite element model based similation to allow for engagement with 3D structural models and systems visualized in the user's a real-world environment. Our vision for STRUCT-AR centers on technology integration in structured and unstructered learning environments, providing teachers and learners with a  complementary teaching tool to help visualize, demonstrate, and interact with complex 3D systems and behaviors of complex structural and mechanic systems.

STRUCT-AR is envisioned to provide a human-centered approached to learning and engagement with complex structural and mechanical systems in a mobile form factor. Check back soon for more details on the release of STRUCT-AR...
