About the Football Tailgate

Calling all UVA BME alums, students, faculty, staff, and friends! Join us for the Annual BME Alumni Tailgate on Saturday September 26th. This year, we're meeting at Montebello, a gorgeous, private brick home that's listed on the National Register of Historic Places. This is a very special location that we're so excited to experience together with you!  

Carpe Donuts is providing the food again (with an amazing plan even if it's a night game) and fun beverages for all ages.

Parking:  There is no parking at the event. Please park wherever you normally would for the football game, and walk over to Montebello. It's right across from Scott Stadium! For accessibility accommodations and any other questions, please contact Holland Hersey.

About BME Alumni Weekend

BME Alumni Weekend is September 25-26, 2026.  Friday is all about networking, mentorship, and celebrating the impact of our alumni network. Saturday is all about tailgating before the game! Swing by the BME Alumni Tailgate at Montebello (1700 Stadium Rd.) two hours before the game. We'll have fresh treats provided by Carpe Donut. It's a weekend full of engaging activities. We look forward to seeing you there! RSVP on more events and we'll sent you a reminder!
