Washington Business Journal has recognized a company founded by two 2007 alumni of the Department of Engineering Systems and Environment’s Accelerated Masters Program in Systems Engineering as one of the fastest-growing companies in the Washington, D.C., area.

Axiologic Solutions, founded and led by Mike Chavira and Tom Stauber, is ranked No. 12 on the list of 75. The journal revealed an alphabetical listing of the 75 companies in September but saved the rankings for a Nov. 1 awards dinner and published them Nov. 2.

According to the journal articles, to qualify for the list, “each company had to be headquartered in Greater Washington, private and independently owned. Companies also had to have revenue growth each year between 2015 and 2017, with revenue of at least $2 million in 2015, and at least $10 million in 2017.”

The companies were then ranked by the average percentage growth in revenue over the three-year period.
