Computer Science Assistant ProfessorNada Basithas been selected as one of the recipients of this year's Hartfield Excellence in Teaching Award, sponsored by theJefferson Scholars Foundation. The Award recognizes those who exemplify the highest standards and practices of teaching. Recipients demonstrate that communicating knowledge and inspiring students are as important to the education process as research and scholarship. They selflessly endeavor to instill in their students the virtues of scholarship and a love of learning. Recipients will be welcomed into the Jefferson Scholars community as a Faculty Fellow, with an invitation to participate in all appropriate Foundation events. This is a wonderful recognition of Nada's contributions and her impact on our students!
