Cville Solar Team Powers Food Truck at UVA

The Cville Solar Team is dedicated to harvesting energy from solar panels to power events at UVA. Recently, the team used a battery box with four lead-acid batteries to power the Sombrero’s food truck for a day. 

The team is passionate about sharing their love for renewable energy and making the UVA community a more sustainable place. They have used solar-charged batteries to power large events including the Lighting of the Lawn, as well as smaller events such as waffle and pancake days.
