Grad Thesis SLAM!, a competition sponsored by UVA's PhDPlus program, is an opportunity for doctoral candidates to effectively explain their research in three minutes in language appropriate for a non-specialist audience. Three graduate students represented UVA Engineering in this year's final competition: Jad Atweh (Systems & Information Engineering), Muhammed Ceylan Morgul (Electrical & Computer Engineering) and Shyam Sundar Santhanam (Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering).
