Ever wish you could spend time with a company you're interested in even if just a few hours to learn what working there is really like?
You can through an EXternship!
Externships are short-term opportunities that allow you to gain insight into a career of interest. At a company of interest you might meet various employees in the organization, go on an office tour, participate in a hands-on activity, and/or sit in on team meetings. Our team has invited a variety of employers to host externships this spring (mostly virtual) on the days that are scheduled to be free from classes, including March 9, March 29, and April 15.
Opportunities are posted in Handshake. Just search for “Externship-Spring Break 2021” in the Jobs section to find them new opportunities will be posted as we hear from more employers. Note: Externships are not designed to be recruiting events but rather opportunities for career exploration.
