Fundamentals of Chemical Reaction Engineering

Fundamentals of Chemical Reaction Engineering

This book is an introduction to chemical reaction engineering and was published by McGraw-Hill in 2003. It is meant to be used in a one-semester course. In fact, our undergraduate reaction engineering course currently uses this textbook. Reaction engineering and reactor engineering are treated separately as opposed to simultaneously. Moreover, both homogeneous and heterogeneous catalysis are discussed. In addition, vignettes are used to provide the readers with “real world” examples so that they can see how chemical reaction engineering affects every day life.
