What Is Changing?
On February 2, 2026 - Data storage will drop to 50GB - if the account exceeds 50GB sending of messages will be suspended
Beginning June 30, 2026, the University of Virginia will retire Google accounts for alumni and former students without a current active affiliation with the University of Virginia.
This change is being implemented due to continued daily security risks, reputational risk, and uncontrolled costs
