Her research focuses on the use of biomaterials, nanotechnology and tissue engineering, applying engineering approaches to studying biological problems and solving unmet medical needs, particularly in the fight against cancer.

Mark Bennett Williams
Professor of Radiology and Medical Imaging, Biomedical Engineering, and PhysicsMark B. Williams received his PhD in physics at UVa in 1990. Following several years with the UVa Physics Department as a Research Scientist he joined the Radiology faculty. His lab applies physics principles to the design and development of systems for medical imaging. -
Keith Williams
Associate Professor, Electrical and Computer Engineering Clark Scholars Faculty DirectorWilliams' completed my Ph.D. in materials physics at Penn State University in 2001, and undertook postdoctoral research in the Molecular Biophysics Group at the Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands, thereafter establishing a nanophysics laboratory in the physics department at the University of Virginia.
