Information for Link Lab Visitors

Link Lab is located on the 2nd floor of Olsson Hall. Visitors should enter Link Lab from the entrance off of Engineer's Way (shown here in the photo). Once you go into the building, you go to the top of the stairs and enter through the door to the right. There you will check in at the reception desk.

Driving Directions

From I-64:

Following signs to the UVA Information Center, get off at exit 118B for the Route 29/250 Bypass. Go approximately 0.7 miles and take the off ramp for US 29 Business N/Fontaine Ave exit. Turn right off the exit ramp and follow US-29 N/Fontaine Ave. At the second traffic light, turn left on Maury Avenue. Continue onto Alderman Road until you pass the football stadium, then take the first right onto Whitehead Road. Turn left onto Chemistry Drive, then turn right into the E3 parking lot.

From I-66 via US Route 29 North:

Take I-66 from Northern Virginia past Manassas. Take the exit marked Route 29 South - Gainesville. Proceed to Charlottesville, where Route 29 becomes Emmet Street. Pass University Hall basketball arena on the right. Proceed straight through the traffic light at the intersection of Route 250 Business (University Avenue/Ivy Road). Proceed straight through the next 5 lights, onto Grounds, as the road curves to the left, continue straight onto Stadium Road. At the stop sign, turn right onto Whitehead Road. Turn right onto Chemistry Drive, then turn right or left into the E3 parking lots.

Central Grounds Parking Garage

For all-day parking, the Central Grounds Garage is about a 7 minute walk from Olsson Hall. DIRECTIONS.

Scott Stadium Parking Meters

Located on the top floor of the Scott Stadium parking garage, these two-hour parking meters are a short walk from Olsson Hall. Note: enter from Whitehead road and drive through the E3 parking lot to the front of Bryant Hall, and turn left through the gate to access the metered lot. DIRECTIONS.

Temporary Parking Permit

Temporary parking permits for the E3 lot are available. Your host at the Link Lab may be able to provide one for you.
