Information for Visitors

Link Lab is located at 151 Engineer's Way, Charlottesville, VA 22904 (second floor of Olsson Hall). 

Visitors should enter Link Lab from the entrance off of Engineer's Way (shown in the photo above) - just go up the stairs and the reception desk is through the door to the right. If elevator access is needed, please use the entrance around the left of the building and take the elevator to the second floor.

Driving Directions

From I-64:

Following signs to the UVA Information Center, get off at exit 118B for the Route 29/250 Bypass. Go approximately 0.7 miles and take the off ramp for US 29 Business N/Fontaine Ave exit. Turn right off the exit ramp and follow US-29 N/Fontaine Ave. At the second traffic light, turn left on Maury Avenue. Continue onto Alderman Road until you pass the football stadium, then take the first right onto Whitehead Road. The E3 parking lot will be on the right near Scott Stadium.

From I-66 via US Route 29 North:

Take I-66 from Northern Virginia past Manassas. Take the exit marked Route 29 South - Gainesville. Proceed to Charlottesville, where Route 29 becomes Emmet Street. Pass John Paul Jones basketball arena on the right. Proceed straight through the traffic light at the intersection of Route 250 Business (University Avenue/Ivy Road). Proceed straight through the next 5 lights. As the road curves to the left, continue straight onto Stadium Road. At the stop sign, turn right onto Whitehead Road. The E3 parking lot will be on the left near Scott Stadium.

Central Grounds Parking Garage

For all-day parking, the Central Grounds Garage is about a 7-minute walk from Olsson Hall. DIRECTIONS.

Scott Stadium Parking

Located on the top floor of the Scott Stadium parking garage, there are a few ParkMobile enabled spaces (zone #5506 / $2.95 per hour) which are a short walk from Olsson Hall.  SEE LOCATION

Temporary Parking Permit

Temporary parking permits for the E3 lot are available. Your host at the Link Lab may be able to provide one for you.
