E-guides are the tour guides for UVA Engineering. Our job is to get potential students and their families interested in and excited about both engineering and UVA. We offer daily in-person tours (not including Sundays), Q&As in the summer, and have a virtual tour as well. We also help out with Days on the Lawn each spring semester. Each tour is led by two guides, and as an e-guide, you are responsible for giving a tour about every two weeks. Info sessions and tryouts are held at the beginning of each semester, and while first years cannot try out their first semester, we would love to have you try out in your spring semester if you are interested!
