Ethan joined the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering in 2023. In addition to teaching, he serves as Deputy Director of the UVA ExSiTE Lab. Ethan's research interests include the development and application of experimental techniques to analyze heat and energy transfer in extremes of material size and environment.

Scully's primary research interest is to understand the relationships between a material's structure and composition and properties related to environmental degradation. Bryn Seabrook's research interests include, AI pedagogy and learning design in engineering education; energy efficiency; climate change; negotiating the environmental - consumer nexus; and analyzing American consumer culture.

Dr. Jason Sheehan received his BS, MS, PhD and MD from the University of Virginia. His BS is in Chemical Engineering with the highest honors awarded from the School of Engineering. Associate Professor, Electrical and Computer Engineering
Cong Shen is an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at UVa. He obtained his PhD degree from UCLA. His research interests are in AI/ML for wireless, reinforcement learning, in-context learning and transformers, LLMs, and federated learning.
Before joining UVA as an Associate Professor in 2016, Haiying Shen received her B.S. degree from Tongji University, China in 2000, and her M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from Wayne State University in 2004 and 2006. In addition to teaching, she is an Associate Editor for the IEEE/ACM Transactions on Networking (TON) and the IEEE Networking Letters (NL).
