Opportunities & Resources for Hispanic Students
Center for Diversity in Engineering (CDE)
The CDE, located in the D-Wing of Thornton Hall right off of E-Way, is a great space where students come together to study, rest, get snacks, meet for clubs, or just chat between classes. The CDE is run by Student Associates with experience in “career development, community outreach, equity in education, academic success, leadership development, marketing, and diversity programming.” This space is specifically meant to create a community for underrepresented groups in STEM including racial minorities, female, first-generation and low-income, and LGBTQ+ identifying students. Stop by the CDE to meet some great people, and follow them on Instagram to stay up to date on exciting events, including those featuring Hispanic Heritage Month!
