Printers/copiers are available for undergraduate students at the Thornton Hall Stacks (2nd floor), and at any library around grounds! Visit the UVA Library printing webpage for details. 

CIO/Clubs 

General Student Use 

Rice room reservations can be requested via the Outlook calendar system. 

Conference/meeting rooms in Rice Hall can be reserved for lab/research meetings, group projects, group meetings, student presentations (any need that includes three (3) or more students) but may not be reserved for studying or TA office hours (see below for suggested locations for studying and TA Office Hours).  

Please Note: During business hours (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday-Friday), students may use meeting rooms (if otherwise unoccupied) but will be asked to move if a space is needed by faculty/staff.  

TA Office Hours Spaces

  • Rice 442 is a designated TA office hours room
  • Library spaces (https://library.virginia.edu/spaces)  
  • TA office hours may be in classrooms (availability is usually posted after the add/drop deadline each semester)
  • Please work with the faculty to schedule TA office hours after 5:00 PM, and not between the hours of 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM during the week. (This is not applicable to Rice 442, as it is a designated space.)
