Erzhen Hu, a Ph.D. candidate in computer science, is the recipient of a Google Ph.D. fellowship in Human-Computer Interaction. 

She is advised by Seongkook Heo, Alfred Weaver Career Enhancement Assistant Professor, Computer Science. Erzhen obtained her M.S. in Statistics from UVA, and B.A. in Sociology from Shanghai University. Her research includes exploring Human-AI communication paradigms by augmenting human-AI interactions through multi-modal agents, leveraging LLMs, and applying advanced 2D and 3D computer vision methods for multi-user scenarios, and video-mediated interactions and XR applications.
