The Opila lab has three box front-loading furnaces for testing oxidation behavior in stagnant air in temperatures up to 1500ºC. The programmable controller allows for cyclic as well as isothermal testing.

The Opila lab has four tube furnaces for testing oxidation behavior in stagnant or flowing gas in temperatures up to 1500ºC. The programmable controller allows for cyclic as well as isothermal testing. In addition, these tube furnaces can be equipped with steam jet capabilities to emulate high temperature high velocity water vapor conditions.
